Public Speaking

Competition

On Wednesday, Myla, Sunnie and Alicia took part in a Public Speaking Competition with some local schools.

They had to plan a talk on ‘What is a really helpful proverb or motto that we should live our lives by?

They were a credit to the school and came a close second.


 

           Acorn trip to Thorndon Country Park        

On Tuesday 30th January, Acorn Class went Gruffalo hunting at Thorndon Country Park. They had a great time: being snakes in the leaves, making Gruffalo crumble to

feed to the mouse, creating forest art on the floor and singing songs to the Gruffalo.
