Prince Harry visits Epping Forest
On 15th March 2017, High Beech School was delighted to take part in an official event attended by Prince Harry to dedicate Epping Forest to the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy (QCC). QCC will mark Her Majesty The Queen’s service to the Commonwealth while conserving indigenous forests for future generations.
Our children took part in various environmental activities including creating forest sculptures based on woodland animals before meeting Prince Harry and showing him their work.
Prince Harry then planted an oak on Queen’s Green, High Beach before having a group photograph taken.
