Updates for parents

Late arrivals – Please ensure that your child is in school before the bell is rung.  Children who regularly arrive late will be contacted by the school’s Educational Welfare Officer.

Spare clothes – If you have any small boys/girls pants and/or socks that you would be happy to donate to the school we would be grateful.

Swimming pool drop off – We have been notified by Waltham Abbey Swimming Pool that High Beech children are being dropped off as early as 8.15 for their lesson.  The pool management will not allow our children access prior to 8.40 when the school will have members of staff on duty.  Please can parents/carers adhere to this policy.  Thank you.

Absences – May we remind you that if your child is not able to attend school, that you inform us by telephone on the first day of absence.  Then follow this up with a letter on their return to school.

Term time holidays – The government have issued all schools with attendance targets and government policy is for schools to discourage taking children out of school during term time for holidays.

Parking – May we remind parents to park courteously at the beginning and the end of the school day.

Please could parents/carers not drop off children before 8.40 as there are not members of staff on duty to supervise.  Thank you.

Each Friday at 9.00am we have a Sharing Assembly in the hall and you are welcome to join us.
