Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club runs term time only on a daily basis from Monday to Friday each week unless the school is closed for any reason. It will only be available to children in Foundation and Year 1 on a Thursday due to swimming.  The club will be led either Ms Hendy, Mrs Horton or Mrs Kemp who are members of High Beech Primary School staff.

  • Breakfast Club provides early morning childcare together with a combination of a healthy breakfast and an opportunity for your child to engage in social activities.
  • Breakfast can be the most important meal of the day and many children miss it out completely.
  • The club will allow your child to start the school day, on time, calm and ready for learning.

Times and fees

Children will be supervised in the school hall from 8.00am until 8.40am before the school day begins. Breakfast club is open to High Beech School children only.

The daily fee for the club is £3.00 per session per child or £5 for 2 children from the same family payable half termly in advance (agreement/invoice will be issued).

Once the children have arrived in school uniform and been signed in by their parent/carer they will be offered a choice of healthy breakfast cereals (low in salt and sugar), wholemeal toast, fruit and drinks which will be served between 8.00am-8.15am.  Breakfast is optional therefore; if you wish to feed your child at home please advise the staff on arrival that they have already eaten. They will then be able to participate in a range of activities including board games and colouring. They may wish to use this time to work on their homework.

Please contact the school office if you would like your child to attend.
