Thank you for visiting our school website! On behalf of all at High Beech
Church of England Primary, may I offer you a very warm welcome and hope
that you will find the information contained here both helpful and informative.

Our Christian values underpin everything we do, providing a supportive and
encouraging environment that enables children to develop a life long love of
learning.

Expectations in all areas of the curriculum are high, and we try to ensure that
all our children are provided with opportunities to develop their own unique
talents and reach their individual potential.

If you would like to arrange to visit our school, please contact the Office Manager,
Mrs Wilde - or myself - and we will endeavour to give you an insight into our very
special, caring community.

I would like to say a very big thank you to all the parents and pupils who gave money to our Children in Need cake stall.  £30.00 was raised.

A big well done to all those children who took part in the recent schools cross country tournament at Debden Park, you were supportive of each other and a credit to the school.

SICKNESS BUG - If your child has a sickness bug please keep them at home for 24 hours from the last episode of sickness.

Public Sector Day of Action - November 30th 2011
All teaching unions are currently balloting and notifying members regarding possible strike action on November 30th in response to current pension reforms.  Negotiations are still continuing and we will keep you informed of any decisions.

Being involved in the Primary learning network project and benefiting from the additional funding and the link with other local schools.

Swimming Pool drop off

We have been notified by Waltham Abbey Swimming Pool that High Beech children are being dropped off as early as 8:15 for their lesson.  The Pool management will not allow our children access prior to 8:40 when the school will have members of staff on duty.  Please can parents/carers adhere to this policy.  Thanks.

Parking

We have received a few complaints regarding parking.  Please can we ask you to park thoughtfully. A copy of our Good Parking Policy is available on our Letters Home page.  We ask you to follow this and hopefully this will help with traffic congestion outside the school.

Please note the Parents Forum meet termly at school.
